Product Review: Fort Magic Kit (5 Stars)

Okay, y'all. Last year I stumbled across a fort building kit that has even more options than the standard kits from Discovery and everyone said it DOESN'T FALL DOWN WHEN YOU SNEEZE. I had held off on buying a fort kit because I didn't want to worry about it getting knocked by Big Brother onto Little Sister, nor the frustrations of having to rebuild constantly.

By the time I heard about Fort Magic, it had just gone on sale for $200 (keep reading, price has DROPPED). I decided to take the risk despite the price tag, and I was glad I did! The kit is very sturdy with PVC pipes in shades of blue and purple. There are straight pieces and curved pieces, enough to allow you can make a house big enough to move around in, a rocket ship, sail boat, whatever your (I mean, ahem, your kid's) imagination contrives. Plus it comes with fabric clips so you can customize your fort with spare sheets or scarves or--if you're crafty--you can even make custom fabric to elevate your design. Our family actually used the fort kit to make an outdoor dining hut that stayed up for a week!

I just got notice that the price has dropped substantially AND it is on sale right now. You can buy it directly from Fort Magic or from Amazon (affiliate link). The Fort Magic site has tons of photos to give you an idea of what you can build!
